COVID 19 Precautions

We, at We Care Pediatrics, are committed to provide the safest environment for you, your family and our staff.  Therefore, we have taken extra precautions to ensure that everyone is safe.

These precautions are:

  1.  We ask that you call us from your car when you arrive and we will check you in from your car.  We will call you back with a room number.  You will then enter the building with a mask on everyone who enters unless the child is < 3 years old.  The mask should always cover the nose and mouth while inside of the building.  You will be given any paperwork and the check in pad at the front desk and directed to your room.  Please follow the one way yellow arrows to your room

  2.  Please get water and use the restroom before you go to the exam room so that you will not need to leave the room after entering.

  3. Only 1 adult is allowed to be in the office with the patient to avoid as much contact as possible.  Therefore, other parent or adults as well as other siblings should not come into the office, unless the sibling is being seen.  The only exception for more than 1 parent is with newborns or children with handicaps who need both parents to be present.

  4. Please attempt to stay 6 feet apart from others when in the office.  Please stay in the exam room except for the need to go to the restroom.  You will be checked out in the room and all necessary papers will be brought to you.

  5. You will leave the office by following the yellow arrows to the back door.

  6. If your child has fever, cough, congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, decreased sense of smell or taste, we recommend that you set up a virtual appointment if you feel that your child needs to be evaluated.

  7. We recommend that you bring all medications that your child is on or has been prescribed, with you to every visit to avoid confusion with the medications.

If your child has an upcoming appointment, please notify us within 72 hours of the appointment, if your child develops symptoms or if your child was exposed to anyone with symptoms or who was considered to possibly have Covid-19.
