Office visits are available by appointment only. Our office hours are staggered as follows:

8:00 - 5:00  Monday to Wednesday
8:30 - 6:30  Thursday
8:00 - 4:30  Friday
8:00 - noon  Saturday (except 4th and 5th Saturdays)

When your child becomes ill and needs to be seen, we ask that you call as early as possible for a same day or next day appointment. This will help us plan for all patients and lessen your waiting time in the office. Because we do try to maintain our schedule, calling ahead to schedule appointments and limiting unexpected visits will greatly help us serve you better. If for any reason you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please notify the office as soon as possible.

We value your time and want your visits to be productive and pleasant. Please assist us by arriving on time for your appointment. If you arrive late for your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you in a timely manner.

If an urgent situation should arise during regular office hours, please call our office and someone will help you immediately. If an urgent situation should arise after hours, call any of our regular office numbers and your call will be forwarded to a Pediatric Nurse-on-Call. The nurse will return your call and if necessary, will contact a physician to return your call. For emergencies that do not permit such call back time, dial 911 and get immediate help.

We request payment for all medical services at the time of your child's office visit. We accept most major insurance including Aetna / U.S. Healthcare, Blue Cross / Blue Shield, Blue Choice, Cigna, PeachCare and Medicaid. We are also on many other health insurance plans so please contact our office or check with your insurance plan to see if we are on your plan so that additional out-of-network charges are not incurred. Please bring your insurance card with you to each visit so that we may process the claim for you.

To maximize your insurance benefits, we encourage you to know what your co-pay and insurance benefits are, and make sure we get a copy of your insurance card when services are rendered. Filing insurance claims is a service provided without charge and in no way relieves you responsible for your bill.

Managed Care (HMO, PPO, POS, etc.) patients must present their plan identification cards when registering for each office visit. Copay and charges for non-covered services must be paid at each visit.

For patients not covered by insurance in which We Care participates, we require complete payment for our services at the time of the office visit.

We accept cash, Mastercard, and Visa. We do not accept personal checks.

Prescriptions and Refills

Prescriptions and refills for medications are issued weekdays during office hours, except in emergency situations. For a routine prescription refill, please contact your pharmacy, and, if necessary, the pharmacist will call our office. For a refill of chronic or controlled medications, we ask that you give the office ten days notice to allow your doctor an opportunity to review your child's health record. Always have prescription and pharmacy numbers on hand when requesting refills. Please let us know if the patient is allergic to any medications.

All Records (Including Immunization / Shot Forms)

We will gladly provide you with records and forms needed for daycare and school. Please call our office and request the specific form you need. Please give us that name, in addition to the child's name when registering in the office to be seen or when asking for information about the child. If your child is due immunization, we will notify you and ask for you to schedule a well child visit. Please allow at least 72 hours for any documents to be completed. All administrative service fees are required when you request for records or forms.
